Hello Resilient One,
You’ve sat on the therapist’s couch.
You’ve filled journals cover to cover.
You’ve read every book on family systems, narcissism, attachment wounds.
You’ve joined support groups, said the mantras, walked on eggshells, practiced forgiveness, gone no-contact, re-established contact, gone no-contact again.
You’ve done all the right things.
And still…
There are nights when your chest aches like an old bruise.
Moments when a random song, a smell, a memory sends you spiraling back.
That tiny, hidden place in you still whispers: Why can’t I just get over this?
You’re not broken. You’re not failing.
You’re just scared to answer the call - because the ring tone will sound like Love.
And when love is what fractured you, it can feel safer to stay in pain.
What If Healing Isn’t About Doing More - But Going Deeper…
Most of what’s offered to estranged parents or adult children focuses on coping with the loss or building a wall.
How to manage triggers.
How to reframe the story.
How to stay “strong” when the pain flares.
How to move on and forget them.
But coping or moving on isn’t healing.
And talking about the wound isn’t the same as dissolving it.
True healing asks something more of us.
Not to keep dancing around the fire - but to walk through it.
Not to burn the bridge behind us - but to let what no longer serves us fall to ash.
Because in the ash, the obstacles dissolve - and what’s real and true can finally emerge.
This isn’t the dark night of the soul.
It’s the dark night of the ego - where illusions fall away, and the soul finally has room to speak.
For The Ones Who’ve Tried It All
I know what it’s like to feel like there’s nowhere else to turn.
To feel exhausted by your own search for peace.
I also know it’s possible to arrive at a place where:
- You don’t need closure to be free.
- You don’t need their apology to feel whole.
- The pain no longer owns you, because you’ve finally released it from your body, your mind, your life.
If you’ve reached the end of what everyone else can give you,
you may be standing at the threshold of what only you can do.
If you’re in that space - where you’ve done the work but still feel the ache - you might find my free 6-week Soul Recalibration supportive. It’s my offering to those ready to begin again, gently.
Whatever you choose on your path, keep going deeper, my friend.
Keep going.
With you on the journey,
Healing begins when we stop trying to mend everything around us, and instead turn inward - with courage, vulnerability and trust, and begin the sacred work of knowing ourselves in the quiet presence of something greater.
